BawBags Underwear – Review

We discovered BawBags last year and have become big fans ever since and are over the moon to be reviewing some of their latest designs. They have now become the pants (underwear) we grab when we hit the trails, either hiking or biking but we even use them for normal daily use too, they are just so damn comfortable!

BawBags have always made bright, vibrant and fun designs because as they say life is too short for boring boxers! and we totally agree!

They have a great sense of humour and you can see this with their creative acronyms such as their TWAT (Technical Wicking Active Technology) fabrics. What?! It makes total sense to us.

Look and Feel

BawBags have a huge range of funky designs and colours for men and women, which was the big appeal for us. They’re a fun brand and this really comes out in their designs.

“In 2013 we added our first base layers using the TWAT fabric, to the Bawbags range.”

Be it socks, gloves, jerseys or underwear. If you can have a bit of fun with clothing, especially in the outdoor lifestyle range…then why the hell not.

OK, you could say nobody is going to see them under your clothing so what’s the point? But who cares! You know you’ve got them on and we know how sexy underwear makes us feel…that’s right…damn sexy!

Fit and Quality

The majority of the ones we tested were from their humorously imaginative titled, TWAT range. Which stands for Technical Wicking Active Technology, of course! Funny? We think so.

The TWAT fabric is used in their Cool De Sacs range which have a silky cool, light feel to them. When you hoist them up you will notice there’s plenty of elasticity in the waist band and the main fabric sections, so they hug your butt and upper thighs very nicely.

We’ve got one pair at least 12 months old, so consider these as our long-term test pair and they’re not showing any signs of slacking off. Still toight like a toiger!

Who Are They?

Bawbags Underwear was established in 2007 like so many other great ideas, in a pub. The idea was “a mission to keep the nation’s baws tidy” and in the process, raise money for cancer charities at the same time. Well, that sounds like a great idea to us. We always knew beer produced the best ideas.

Since that time, BawBags have raised well over £25,000 for charity and continue to support Orchid and more recently Medical Detection Dogs as well.

“Each year we continue to work hard to come up with some exciting designs so your baws are kept tidy in the finest style!”

Conclusions:

If you’re in the market for some new undies, then why not check BawBags out. They ship from the UK but are well worth the relatively short wait. With a large range of mens and womens underwear and base layers in mind boggingly fun designs, there’s something for everyone.

They have a very, very nice hugging fit and the Cool De Sacs range with their TWAT fabric has an impressive cooling sensation. So perfect for active pursuits.
