FIRST LOOK – Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX

Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX, a Boot That Can Handle Lightweight and Heavy Duty Hiking!

Scarpa releases a new boot that will bridge that gap between everyday lightweight walks to more serious and heavy-duty terrain.

Internationally renowned outdoor footwear brand, Scarpa, has just released it’s new Kailash Trek GTX boot, offering a perfect choice for walkers looking for a traditional style boot with modern materials and techniques.

Built on Scarpa’s wide fitting BX Last, the Kailash Trek GTX utilises a rich 1.8mm calf leather, weather protection from a Gore-Tex liner, and a protective toe rand for added durability.

All this sits on top of a Vibram outsole meaning the boot is perfectly at home both locally in our Australian bush, or internationally on your next long-distance trek.

  • The Kitsuma 1.5 from @ospreyaustralia is one hell of a lightweight pack. Talk about minimalism. This is it folks! It holds a 1.5 litre bladder and a single pocket for your bare essentials. 📸 @richardmcgibbon
  • The @ospreypacks Savu lumbar pack allows you to carry two bottles at once so you can keep riding for longer. The pack is compact and secure, even on the roughest trails and has excellent storage options to store all your ride essentials. @ospreyaustralia ⁣⠀📸 @richardmcgibbon ------------
  • The @pnwcomponents Loam lever and Rainer dropper post is the goldilocks of set ups. With buttery smooth motion and an incredibly light lever action, this is a premium grade system that won’t blow your budget. 😊 | 📸 @richardmcgibbon
  • We’ve been testing the new Seral, Savu and Kitsuma packs from @ospreyaustralia. All three packs offer something different and are aimed at day rides where you can carry the bare minimum such as the Kitsuma, or pack a little more with the Seral and Savu. The Kitsuma and the Seral use a bladder system. The Savu is a lumbar pack that has been designed to carry two bottles (no bladder). Whichever style of pack or riding you do, there’s now a great range to choose from. It’s good to see Osprey focusing on more mtb specific designs and what riders are looking for. 📸 @richardmcgibbon
